Grasses are complimentary plants that can be used in various plantings. The majority of grasses are drought tolerant and require very little maintenance. Ornamental grasses are chosen depending on color, height and texture. Many grasses also produce flower spikes in shades of maroon, pink, red, silver, white and beige. Grasses are often used as borders, in container gardens and as ground covers. Grasses add movement and height to your landscape.
